Nintendo Land's plaza contains several prizes of items and objects the player can encounter in each attraction. Some of these prizes represent items found in the Pikmin Adventure attraction. By touching the prizes on the GamePad or by jumping into them with the controllable Mii, the player can see each prize's name as well as a brief description of the item represented, provided by Monita. The following article will detail the relevant objects and items in Pikmin Adventure.

Bulborb Dropping

When players are eaten by Bulborbs and Yellow Bulborbs, they are turned into the Bulborb Dropping, rendering them vulnerable due to not being able to do much other than move slowly. To return to normal, the player needs to either be attacked by other players, harmed by enemies, or enter a body of water.

Monita's notes

People eaten by a Bulborb are forced to wear this. It's the little details that make this attraction feel like a real Pikmin adventure!

The Draft Jumper is a gameplay element that either propels players or sends them underground to a different part of the level. It is usually found locked until all of the enemies in the area around it are defeated.

Monita's notes

Drafts of air shoot up from these contraptions, propelling you to a new area. They're usually locked with a key, but don't worry--you'll probably find one.

The Heart statue in the Nintendo Land plaza.

Hearts appear throughout many of the Nintendo Land attractions, including Pikmin Adventure. They restore the player's health by 1 point. In Pikmin Adventure, the player can have up to three hearts by default. However, by collecting a bigger version of the regular heart, the player can extend their maximum health up to six.

Monita's notes

This is always a source of relief when it finally appears. I heartily recommend this statue as a romantic meeting point if you're planning a date here at the park!

Jump Switch

A statue of a Jump Switch.

The Jump Switch is similar to the Draft Jumper in that it propels the player to another part of the level. The main difference is that the Draft jumper will send players to an area without loading a new part of the level. Moreover, every player needs to stand on it via the whistle to activate it.

Monita's notes

Gather everyone together on the switch, and you'll be catapulted through the air. Finally, an attraction where you don't have to wait in line!

Nectar

The Nectar statue in the Nintendo Land plaza.

Nectar in Pikmin Adventure allows the player to level up. Every three blobs, a player will level up by one. At level 5 Pikmin will grow a bud, and level 10 grows a flower. Players will also release a few drops of nectar when they get knocked out.

Monita's notes

Nectar is a condensed, highly nutritional food source that has been scientifically proven to encourage a Pikmin's growth. Also, it looks delicious.

Rock

The Rock prize in Pikmin Adventure.
The Rock statue in the Nintendo Land plaza.

The Rock is a gameplay item that can be thrown at enemies and other players. Enemies ht by a rock not only get damaged but they also have a chance to be stunned for some time. If the rock hits a player, they will be knocked over for a short time as if they took damage.

Monita's notes

Pikmin are stronger than you think! Case in point: a single Pikmin can lift even this hefty rock. Just don't throw it carelessly, or you might end up flattening one of your teammates!

Monita's notes
