The Crunchy Deluge (シャクシャクノミ?, lit.: "Shak-shak Fruit") is a fruit in Pikmin 3 and a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is an Asian pear. There is only one in Pikmin 3's Story Mode, and it is located in the Twilight River, where it is underwater and guarded by a Toady Bloyster. This means it can only be retrieved by Blue Pikmin. Although identical to the Astringent Clump in weight and juice provided, they are different fruits. In Pikmin 4, it appears in the Primordial Thicket and The Mud Pit.

The Mud Pit
There is another Crunchy Deluge inside of a Mamuta at the top right of sublevel 1 of The Mud Pit in the Primordial Thicket. To collect this treasure, you must first defeat the Mamuta, then throw 12 Pikmin at it.
