Russ is the material engineer and inventor of the Rescue Corps in Pikmin 4. He can be seen conversing with the others. He is bald, has a pear-shaped head, a long nose, pointy ears, and wears glasses. His head shape bears a resemblance to the spammer that advertises Hocotate Whiz in Pikmin 2. Russ runs "The Lab", a shop where the player is able to spend raw materials they've collected on upgrades for themselves or Oatchi. His name alludes to Jack Russell Terriers. Like Collin and Shepherd, he is from the planet Giya.
