The shop is a feature of Pikmin Bloom where various in-game items can be bought for coins or real-world money. It is accessed from a button on the main menu.

Mii costumes

This section contains costumes for Miis. It was added to the shop several months after the game's release, initially appearing inconsistently between July 11^th and July 22^nd, 2022, before becoming a permanent part of the shop on July 23^rd, 2022. On October 13^th, 2022 (as part of update 55.0), the section was renamed from "Mii Items" to "Mii Costumes" and was reduced in size, only showing 6 featured items, and a button labeled "See other items" was added to link to the Mii editor, where the rest of the items can be bought from.

The detector was added to this section in version 45.0; before this update, detectors could only be individually bought from the detector menu.

Upgrades

These are purchased with real-world money, and increase the maximum amount of a particular type of item that can be stored.

The postcard storage upgrade was added to this section on June 23^rd, 2022.

Initial flower petal storage capacity increased from 200 to 300 on July 11^th, 2022, and maximum flower petal storage capacity increased from 1000 to 1200 on July 19^th, 2022.

On September 14^th, 2022, all upgrades changed from costing real-world money to costing in-game coins. Before this date, upgrades cost $1.99 USD, ¥250, $2.99 AUD, €2.29, ₱99.00, or £1.99, and some upgrades increased storage capacity by different amounts – 50 for nectar, 50 for petals, and 50 for Pikmin, with the other upgrade amounts unchanged.

Trivia

• Early beta testers of the app have increased storage limits by default. These are:
  • 500 of each kind of nectar instead of 200.
  • 500 of each kind of petals instead of 200.
  • 1000 Pikmin instead of 300.
  • 50 seedlings instead of 30.
