Vandalism is the action of publishing undesirable edits to a page. Editors who vandalize pages also make an attempt to try to annihilate the purpose of Pikipedia. But, it is always best to show good faith towards them.
Steps
Verify
Note that some unconstructive edits may be published without vandal intentions. If an editor appears to be deliberately implementing articles with nonsense/gibberish, hoaxes, spam, or is removing mass content from pages without a good reason, then it's likely vandalism. Sometimes, it might be a new editor who doesn't know how to properly edit pages.
Revert
If the edit is considered vandalism, it can simply be reverted to the previous revision by simply clicking the (undo) button on the page's revision-history page, everybody can do this.
Notify
When finished reverting, immediately report the editor to an administrator's talk page, or preferably Pikcord.
