The Space Float is a rocket piece found in Pikmin (game). The flotation device is found in the stomach of a Breadbug. It allows someone to stay adrift in space if their ship is shot out from under them. Captain Olimar says that this is unnecessary for a pilot like him, and is only for people who lack swimming skills. However, his motto is "always be prepared".
