Unknown Enemy 10 is a moth-like monster that was revealed from the Nintendo Direct aired on 12.5.12. It was shown in a cave like area, being so dark the ememy emits light. It has hairs growing from its head which light up pink when disturbed, wings that are orange on the outside and beige on the inside, yellow legs and eyes. Their mouth is very similar to an orca whale's. It attacks by sucking in air, causing a vortex to form. Any Pikmin who enter the vortex are trapped. Pikmin are then sucked into the Unknown Enemy's mouth one by one.

Rock Pikmin don't seem to be lifted by the vortex's suction power. In the trailer, only Red and Yellow Pikmin are seen to be lifted by the vortex and are eaten.
