Alphabetical Fruit OrderEdit

Hello! I just noticed your message about the fruit file image. The planning for it was actually pretty easy. The first few days were tricky but luckily there's an Astringent Clump that can be obtained before running out of the initial juice. After that it was just a matter of going to an area that had the next fruit alphabetically on the list. This caused some days to be wasted to getting a single fruit but I collected duplicate fruits wherever I could. I still have my notes for that route saved so here they are:

  • Day 1: TW - Get Red Pikmin, no fruit
  • Day 2: GH - Get Rock Pikmin, defeat Armored Mawdad, no fruit
  • Day 3: DT - Get Yellow Pikmin, defeat Vehemoth Phosbat, get Dodge Whistle, no fruit
  • Day 4: GH - Astringent Clump, get Ultra-Spicy Sprays
  • Day 5: TW - Defeat Sandbelching Meerslug, get Metal Suit Z, no fruit
  • Day 6: TR - Get Winged Pikmin, Scorch Guard, Blonde Impostor
  • Day 7: DT - Astringent Clump, Citrus Lump x2, Anti-Electrifier
  • Day 8: TR - Defeat Scornet Maestro, no fruit
  • Day 9: GH - Get Blue Pikmin, Citrus Lump
  • Day 10: TW - Crimson Banquet
  • Day 11: TR - Citrus Lump, Crunchy Deluge
  • Day 12: TW - Cupid's Grenade, Dapper Blob, Dawn Pustules, Delectable Bouquet, Disguised Delicacy
  • Day 13: GH - Dusk Pustules, Face Wrinkler, Firebreathing Feast, defeat Quaggled Mireclops
  • Day 14: DT - Cupid's Grenade x2, Dapper Blob, Dawn Pustules, Disguised Delicacy, Dusk Pustules, Face Wrinkler, Heroine's Tear
  • Day 15: TR - Dapper Blob, Delectable Bouquet, Dusk Pustules, Insect Condo, Juicy Gaggle x3, Lesser Mock Bottom
  • Day 16: TW - Face Wrinkler, Juicy Gaggle, Lesser Mock Bottom, Mock Bottom, Pocked Airhead
  • Day 17: DT - Portable Sunset
  • Day 18: GH - Lesser Mock Bottom, Pocked Airhead, Scaly Custard, Searing Acidshock x2
  • Day 19: TR - Portable Sunset, Searing Acidshock, Seed Hive
  • Day 20: TW - Scaly Custard, Searing Acidshock, Slapstick Crescent, Stellar Extrusion
  • Day 21: GH - Stellar Extrusion, Sunseed Berry x3
  • Day 22: TR - Tremendous Sniffer
  • Day 23: GH - Velvety Dreamdrop, Wayward Moon, Zest Bomb
  • Day 24: DT - Stellar Extrusion, Sunseed Berry, Velvety Dreamdrop, Zest Bomb
  • Day 25: TW - Velvety Dreamdrop x2, Zest Bomb
  • Day 26: FO - Preparation, no fruit
  • Day 27: FO - Defeat Plasm Wraith, no fruit

I recommend trying an alphabetical run if you ever replay the game as it is actually quite fun and relaxing! The preceding unsigned comment was added by GreenPikmin • (talk) • (contribs)

What languages are Pikmin Bloom available in?Edit

Hi, I understand you can play Pikmin Bloom and I was wondering if you know what languages the game is available in? If we go by what languages the official site is available in, it should at least be available in English, Japanese, Chinese (traditional), French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), and Spanish. But I can't know for sure since I can't download the game yet. --Raltseye prata med mej 00:14, October 28, 2021 (EDT)

I found the language setting, and those are indeed the languages it is available in. — Soprano(talk) 00:33, October 28, 2021 (EDT)
Nice, thank you! 👍 --Raltseye prata med mej 00:53, October 28, 2021 (EDT)

help with challengesEdit

Hey, Soprano! I can't actually "do" 2 stars or 3 stars on challenges, so could you give me some tips? -TheHero383

This isn't really the place to ask for help with this, but I can give some tips. The faster you complete a challenge, the more stars you'll get. And the speed of completing a challenge is entirely dependent on what Pikmin you send on it. The most important thing to do for high scores is to only send Pikmin that are the same color as the mushroom. It's also helpful to prioritize Decor Pikmin and the Pikmin with high friendship values, and to feed nectar to the Pikmin you want to send on the challenge beforehand. When selecting Pikmin, look at the attack power number in the corner, and try to get this number as high as possible. Hope this helps! — Soprano(talk) 16:21, December 17, 2021 (EST)

Re:QuestionEdit

So you're saying I can't welcome users and vote? --73.63.168.159 20:47, March 3, 2022 (EST)

You technically can, but it's a bit weird to. I'd imagine it'd be weird to receive a welcome message from a random IP address. You should create an account if you want to do these things. — Soprano(talk) 20:49, March 3, 2022 (EST)
I'm here because Username taught me how to welcome users on wikis, so I was practicing. I didn't know about the account thing though. I and Username know each other, and I know their long history of editing wikis. --73.63.168.159 20:53, March 3, 2022 (EST)
Ah, I thought that may have been the case. Well, if you're interested in Pikmin and want to help the wiki, I recommend registering an account! (I wrote this comment before I saw that you registered one.) — Soprano(talk) 21:26, March 3, 2022 (EST)
I'm probably going to be documenting upcoming events to Event like Username previously did. But say... is this considered an event to you? --Validuser0239lol (talk) 21:31, March 3, 2022 (EST)
No, because it's only announcing a change to Big Flower probabilities, which have changed several times before. Events are specifically temporary things that add bonuses to the game. It would be great if you could help document events though, since I'm planning to retire from documenting them soon. — Soprano(talk) 21:53, March 3, 2022 (EST)
Bruh, I lost my account. But I may help document the next upcoming announced event then, so you wouldn't have to worry about documenting the next one. --73.63.168.159 22:18, March 3, 2022 (EST)
I'm back. Please do not accuse me of sockpuppeting. As I said in my previous comment, I lost my account. --PikipediaIsMadeByPeopleLikeYou(talk) 23:29, March 4, 2022 (EST)

Return?Edit

Looks like Username has returned, but to create a template link and a redirect on their user page? --PikipediaIsMadeByPeopleLikeYou (talk) 00:19, March 10, 2022 (EST)

I don't get it either, but I'm not the person to ask about this. — Soprano(talk) 00:20, March 10, 2022 (EST)
Same, but I apologize for bothering you. At least their contributions on Pikmin Fanon don't seem to harm the wiki no longer. --PikipediaIsMadeByPeopleLikeYou (talk) 00:23, March 10, 2022 (EST)

QuestionEdit

Since you're the only other active user around here, what do you think of the new template, [[Template:Note|Note]]? I used it on Eternal Emerald Eye as a test. --PikipediaIsMadeByPeopleLikeYou (talk) 01:49, March 13, 2022 (EST)

It's nice, but it's not really necessary. The existing Template:Notes already has a standard way of including notes on articles, by transcluding them from separate pages on the Notes namespace. For example, the note you just copied is at Notes:Eternal Emerald Eye/journal. Another template isn't really necessary. — Soprano(talk) 01:52, March 13, 2022 (EST)

Re:Station Name in ImageEdit

I am aware that the station name is in the image and I do not mind it staying up, for it is a place i once visited.-- Poshted (talk) 08:33, September 8, 2022 (BST)

Pikmin 4 in the game icons templateEdit

I'd like to do that, if that's okay. ~   Cheepy (talk)

I was discussing this with Espyo, and it kind of goes against the new game policy, but it's something that's so inconsequential and is going to be done anyway, so it doesn't matter too much. I don't recommend adding the icons to any more articles though. — Soprano(talk) 20:08, September 14, 2022 (EDT)
Yeah, I stopped where I did deliberately. I was just going off of what I saw in the Nintendo Direct screenshots. Squad could also have the icon applied to it, but that can wait. ~   Cheepy (talk)

Answering your question in the edit of "Pikmin3CaptainConcept.png"Edit

Charlie's the captain of the S.S. Drake, the others are the engineer (Alph) and the botanist (Brittany). The same logic applies to Olimar's category page containing the word "captain", but Louie's not. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gulliblepikmin • (talk) • (contribs)

It wasn't a question, I was just commenting on it being weird in my opinion that Olimar and Charlie get a "Captain" before their names on the wiki, while Alph, Brittany, and Louie don't, which feels a bit inconsistent despite being correct with their titles in-game. But it's not a big issue and the current setup doesn't need to change. — Soprano(talk) 03:36, February 17, 2023 (EST)
(For reference, since the file was deleted: my edit summary was "Why does Charlie have a Captain and the other Koppaites don't", on an edit that replaced "Category:Charlie images" with "Category:Captain Charlie images".)

Zzzzzzzzzzzz... accountsEdit

Is it possible to disable that IP adress from creating more accounts? This is getting annoying in the recent changes... CrazPiki (talk) 07:41, June 26, 2023 (EDT)

Porplemontage already tried, but the creator of these accounts seems to be using a VPN, making it impossible it IP block them since their IP keeps jumping all around the place. -Gulliblepikmin 07:46, June 26, 2023 (EDT)

QuestionEdit

So i saw in july 20... Already Pikmin 4 gameplay? Well, if that's a leak, for me its because its strange because it was for 21 july. Or if it isn't, then maybe add those then maybe? Darryl Omg, themself (talk) 22:21, July 20, 2023 (EDT)

The game comes out in different regions at different times because of timezones. It's out in most of the world by now but it releases in North America in an hour and a half. — Soprano(talk) 22:32, July 20, 2023 (EDT)

Pikmin 4 canon discrepancyEdit

On the Canon page, it says that Pikmin 4 is an alternate version of Pikmin 1’s events, but Pikmin 4 has a lot of content that doesn’t make sense in Pikmin 1’s place on the timeline, such as Louie being sent to look for Olimar, having already been on a mission with Olimar, and then suddenly meeting Olimar for the first time as soon as Olimar returns to Hocotate, having only had 1 mission before, at the start of Pikmin 2. - I Am Error (talk) 07:16, August 4, 2023 (EDT)

I am not the person to ask about this, as I did not write that section of the article. Please post your concerns on the article's talk page. It will probably take months of discussion to work out exactly how Pikmin 4 should be documented on that article. — Soprano(talk) 18:43, August 4, 2023 (EDT)

Pikmin 4 Piklopedia NotesEdit

Hey, thanks for the compliment. To answer your question, I’ve been manually transcribing them from the games. If that’s the wrong thing to do let me know. I’ll stop updating them in the meantime. — Chazmatron (talk)14:41, October 17, 2023 (BST)

Pikmin 2 enemy IDsEdit

Hi, I saw that one of the wiki projects is to add the "teki" ID numbers to every Pikmin 2 enemy. Since you're an administrator, could you add a ID number / "teki" parameter to the "P2 enemy technical" template so that we can start to write that information on articles? — GGabryy(talk) 15:13, December 23, 2023 (CET)

eyloEdit

my IP has changed so this might look weird but

you undid this edit of mine because you doubt the realness. if you're gonna do that, you need to also remove it from where I got it from at Oatchi#Naming, which goes much harder at explaining how intentional it is

Candypop budsEdit

I just want to say that I was putting down the location of the candypop buds, not the wild Pikmin. I will also make a small E-card section and add a new e-card photo. If you can, can you please add the wild candypop bud stuff back?Don't add back the photos though.I saw my mistake, but keep the current photo. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hunter • (talk) • (contribs)

Wild Pikmin are replaced with Candypop Buds when you have 100 Pikmin in your squad. The mechanics around Wild Pikmin and Candypop Buds in Pikmin 4 are complicated, so just visiting caves and documenting locations will likely result in details being missed. — Soprano(talk) 18:25, April 11, 2024 (EDT)
Oh!Thank you for correcting my mistake!Sorry for the inconvenience The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hunter • (talk) • (contribs)

Images that i've postedEdit

Thank you for informing me about the images that had a map in them, please keep the Pikmin carrying the fruit, but it would be kind if you could delete the Pikmin Bloom UI image. Thank you! -PikminAddict

Accepting and denying editsEdit

Q: how can you deny and allow edits on pages? I have Nominated Blue Pikmin and I can’t see the text. (Just to give Nintendo Karma on the crimes they do on the poor Blue Pikmin) The preceding unsigned comment was added by BulDog • (talk) • (contribs)

Your edits to Pikipedia:Featured article/nominations did appear on the page, but I have removed the text you added because the Blue Pikmin article was already featured in 2021, and we currently don't feature articles multiple times. It is possible for administrators to protect pages so they can't be edited, but in this situation you wouldn't be able to edit the page at all. — Soprano(talk) 19:37, May 9, 2024 (EDT)

Pikmin Adventure enemiesEdit

I have a idea to propose; I think we should give the Pikmin Adventure enemies their own pages. We'll keep the main Pikmin Adventure enemies the same though. Any thoughts? P.S, sorry for accidently changing your main user page! Hunter

I've answered this question on Talk:Pikmin Adventure enemies. — Soprano(talk) 22:12, May 23, 2024 (EDT)

Pikmin bath bombsEdit

I was planning to make a section about the Bandai pikmin bath bombs on the Merchandise/Other page, but they also hold figurines inside them, so do I put the section in Merchandise/Figures, Merchandise/Other, or in both? - user:Hunter

In my opinion, documenting them on Merchandise/Other makes more sense. But I'm not very familiar with the merchandise section of the wiki; Talk:Merchandise is a better place to ask a question like this. — Soprano(talk) 17:55, June 1, 2024 (EDT)

IdeasEdit

What about we add a blog page thing like fandom, so that people can communicate with each other easier? Hunter   (talk)

Fandom has a lot of extra features that most wikis don't have, and a lot of these features distract from the main purpose of a wiki, which is to be an encyclopedia. I don't think Pikipedia should have these kinds of features. — Soprano(talk) 21:57, September 12, 2024 (EDT)

Files in need of deletionEdit

Good morning, I hope that you are having a great day. I've been going through this wiki's uncategorized files recently, and I came across the category "To be deleted". I just wanted to point out that there's just over 1000 files and 53 pages sitting there. Maybe someone forgot to check that page regularly, I don't know, but it seems like it needs to be cleared out. Would you be able to delete the files? --Logangsta (talk) 21:06, October 2, 2024 (EDT)

Pikipedia is really behind on file maintenance. I'd like to go through that category at some point, but it's not as simple as just deleting everything, as each thing needs to be checked to see whether it can be deleted or whether it has some use. — Soprano(talk) 02:12, October 3, 2024 (EDT)
Alright, that's all good. Just wanted to give you the heads up. If its any help, I'll go through some of the files and check if they are worth keeping (reviewing deletion tags). --Logangsta (talk) 01:13, October 5, 2024 (EDT)

Some Questions By MeEdit

Question 1: What’s Your Favorite Pikmin? Question 2:What’s Your Favorite Treasure Series In Pikmin 4? Question 3: What’s Your Favorite Enemies In Pikmin Series? Question 4:What’s Your Favorite Castaway In Pikmin 4? Question 5:What’s Your Favorite Area In Pikmin Series? 153.238.200.128 06:13, November 19, 2024 (EST)

Talk pages on the wiki are supposed to be used for wiki-related discussion, not general questions like this. However, I'll answer your questions anyway. It's hard to decide on my favorite Pikmin type, but it's probably Rock Pikmin because of how they have several abilities that are all themed around being made of rock. My favorite treasure series in Pikmin 4 is the Collection Obsession Series because of the mechanic where the numbers on the cards are different in different playthroughs. There are so many enemies in the series so I don't think I could answer the third question. I haven't read much castaway dialog in my playthroughs of Pikmin 4 so far, so I don't know enough about the characters to answer the fourth question. My favorite area in the series is the Twilight River because it has a great structure. — Soprano(talk) 21:48, November 19, 2024 (EST)
