If there is any dispute of where and how certain creatures respawn say them here.
Spotty BulborbEdit
I think you don't understand the gist of the article...its for enemies that reappear when you leave a cave. Technically that makes it sound like a useless topic, but it IS useful for someone who wants to raise Pikmin fast. I'm going to label this until further notice...until an agreement is made. The Spotty Bulborb doesn't match the criteria for the description and syntax of how this article works..
Beady Long LegsEdit
If the Spotty Bulbear stays, the Beady Long Legs should be put in there too, so I think we should delete Bulbear.
Merge + more informationEdit
Hello. I think we should merge this article with Enemy (actually, I think this could be a section for the "Enemy" article). Moreover, we should add information for Pikmin 3: Skitter Leaves reappear everyday in the Garden of Hope, for example. Finally, I suggest that we make another section that would list all the enemies that only appear from a specific day (Ujadani only appear from day 30, the Swooping Snitchbug in the Forest of Hope appears from day 15 (I suppose), and certain Skitter Leaves only appear from the moment Louie steals your food in the Garden of Hope (on the path where Brittany is found). - I think we should study a bit better what enemies reappear with what rules, since I think that every single enemy instance in Pikmin 3 can spawn with its own respawn rules (by this, I mean that that Red Bulborb over there could respawn every day, but that other one could only respawn every 3 days). — {EspyoT} 10:37, 6 June 2016 (EDT)
Proposal to rename article to Respawning and broaden its focusEdit
This article has very little information and is not linked to from any other article. However, its information does have some value: describing how some enemies respawn after exiting caves. However, most other enemies also respawn, but they do so with different patterns. These patterns aren't described anywhere on the wiki. So I propose that this article be renamed from Enemies that reappear to Respawning, and become a list describing the respawning patterns of every enemy in each game, as well as the special cases (such as the enemies already in this page, the Ujadani, and bosses). This would make the article much more useful and make it possible to link to from other articles, but it may be difficult to make. Is information on respawn times findable in the game files? And is an article on this topic a good idea? - Botanist (talk) 19:51, July 15, 2020 (EDT)
- I like the idea of changing it to be about respawning, but I think even then there wouldn't be a whole lot to say. Maybe add information on how some objects re-appear when they enter the pit, but that's about it. Having an article dedicated to listing enemies that respawn is also a bit pointless, since if the user wants to find if X or Y respawn, they can just check the area's article and read the list of enemies within. I should also mention that, right now, this page is not linked to by any page whatsoever. It might make more sense to just delete it outright, and maybe add an explanation in the enemy article about the whole respawn pattern thing with caves. — {EspyoT} 07:15, July 16, 2020 (EDT)
- I've added all of this article's information to Enemy#Enemies that reappear, and it works pretty well there. This article is no longer needed; it may as well be a redirect. — Botanist(talk) 04:13, November 6, 2020 (EST)
