The Bearded Amprat is a species found only in Pikmin 3. It is based on a rat, or a guinea pig. As shown in its name, it surrounds itself in an electric shield, so only Yellow Pikmin can harm it. They can be found in the Distant Tundra.
Strategy
Defeating a Bearded Amprat is fairly simple, as they have no form of defense against Yellow Pikmin. Players should use only this type of Pikmin, and just throw as many Yellow Pikmin as possible onto the Bearded Amprat.
