- For badges in Pikmin Bloom, see Badge (Pikmin Bloom).
Badges (進級バッジ?, lit.: "Promotion Badge") are a series of achievements that players unlock as they progress and meet certain conditions in Pikmin 3 Deluxe. They can be found under the options menu, either on the main screen or in-game. They are shared across save files, allowing multiple save files to be made to contribute to the total collection. Badges have a large range of requirements, some being unlocked by progressing through the game's main story, while others require using the game's co-op features. Because of this, badges are split into five different categories: Story Badges, Side Story Badges, Mission Badges, Bingo Battle Badges, and Dedicated Badges.

RanksEdit
Collecting badges allows for players to rank up. Ranks with badges are purely aesthetic, and provide no gameplay bonuses. Interestingly, there is no Rank for collecting all 50 badges.
- Beginner: Unlocked at the start.
- Second Class: Unlocks after getting 10 badges.
- First Class: Unlocks after getting 20 badges.
- Special Class: Unlocks after getting 40 badges.
TriviaEdit
- Many badges will share the same base shape depending on what the badge is based on. For example, all fruit and juice-related badges will have a floral shape, whereas all boss-related badges will feature a diamond shape.
- The only badge to have a unique base design is Power Surge, featuring a heptagon.
- The boss-related badges may be a reference to the game franchise Monster Hunter, where monster's icons are represented with Mayan or Aztec-like designs. Eighting, one of the companies that worked on Pikmin 3 Deluxe, also had worked on Monster Hunter titles in the past.
- The "archaeology" badges, found by taking photos of the hidden murals, both have pictures of specific murals in the game.
- Archaeology Hobbyist has the bud Red Pikmin mural found in the Tropical Wilds, which is the first one accessible starting on day 1.
- Legendary Archaeologist has the bud Blue Pikmin mural found in the Formidable Oak, which is the last one accessible through normal gameplay.
