Captain Olimar

He's the main character and has a great article so why not?

Support

  1. (Nominator) Bucktooth_Tuba
  2. C'mon guys, this is Olimar! Who cares if he's been featured before, he's the main event! I support. Mikeburnfire 20:56, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Mikeburnfire

Oppose

  1. Okay, I'm actually going to oppose. Firstly, it's a bit predictable, not exactly a novel feature. Secondly, for one of the main articles, half of it is a retelling of the story of both games. It needs some reorganisation at the very least. Finally...we can't all support everything, as it'd be impossible to choose one.GP 18:13, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
  2. Ditto.--Prezintenden

GO GO OLIMAR! I'm Redpikmin Flamethrower And I approve this message.

Burrowing Snagret

A fairly popular enemy, but not as common as the Red Bulborb, for example. Also, it is a boss, but not very spoilish. I think the article is well written too. 67.172.252.52 01:49, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

  1. I agree with nominator.IAMAHIPO_ocolor
  2. Me too. It's long enough and well-written. Could get a better image and have most of the first bit moved to 'how to kill', though.GP

Oppose

  1. I think this has already been feautered about the time I started coming... <.<'~Crystal Lucario~ 12:11, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
    • It was agreed that if an article was recently faetured in the auto rotation, it is irrelevant and can be featured now again. I would keep this for the future, as it is a good article.--Prezintenden 13:30, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

S.S. Dolphin

Okay, think, this was the entire reason Pikmin 1 was started. If The Dolphin hadn't have any pieces blown apart, Olimar would just have blasted off again. Their would be no Olimar meeting Pikmin and the series wouldn't even exist. Pik kid 16:48, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

  1. I suppose. It's a bit short, but there's not much else it could have.GP

Emperor Bulblax

For

  1. I like it because it has a very detailed summary, and good pictures. Killer bread bug 72

Against

  1. That isn't that great of an artical, it looks like it should be on GameFAQ's and needs major fixing so it isn't purely a guide, and KB72 you should give us reasons... I'm ~Lonely Turret~ And I approve this message.
  2. Yeah, it has layout issues and sections aren't divided up very well. Some parts of the text are too long and just look daunting.GP
  3. He just ain't cool enough if you ask me. AFROMAN 22:18, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

  1. 173.74.116.119 Perfect follow up for purple pikmin.
  2. 96.10.246.39 17:25, 2 May 2011 (EDT) - Fits the style of Pikipedia ;).
  3. Mrblob1012 (talkcontribs) per all

Oppose

  1. Vol (Talk) It's a good article, but it's not fit to be featured.
  2.   Loafy the Breadbug   I don't think it would be very good just to feature Pikmin and Creatures. Instead have something like an Area or Treasure.
  3. Not great for such an important article; everything's just dumped in the first section. GP

Hocotate ship

  2.   Loafy the Breadbug   Guess so, better than anything else we've come up with.

Oppose

  1. The one and only, Peanut64. I would rather not advertise a major spoiler, the golden ship...
  2. Featured before. GP

  • This was featured before. Can we nominate previously featured articles? {EspyoT} 17:32, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
  • I'd rather not. Peanut: I wouldn't call it much of a spoiler, but yeah, I see your point. It seems we did actually have that sentence in the feature last time... (At least the image is hidden in the article.) GP
  • Yeah, I looked through the featured articles category but didn't notice that this was featured already. -_- Changing vote. -- Jelloratbob  17:15, 30 July 2011 (EDT)

Pikmin 3

  1. -~-~-James92498-~-~- (talk) 19:59, 24 July 2012 (EDT) Real name: James. I chose this article just in case if there are a few Pikmin fans out there who haven't been on the internet in a while, but then decide to go on Pikipedia, they would see that theres a new Pikmin game right on the front page. they'd probably be all like, "WHOAH! I've been outside having a life so much, that I didn't even know there's a new Pikmin! Sweet!". Plus, who didn't see this coming; 8 years of waiting, no information during that time, and finally Nintendo decides to unvail it first in their e3 presentation! Sign your name for support!

Oppose

  1. {EspyoT} 07:24, 25 July 2012 (EDT) It's just a small stub with random tidbits of info for now. Not mention-worthy, specially not something we want on the main page. This article will be featured in the future, no question about it, but for now, leave it be.
  2. GP - as Espyo.
  3. ~PikFan23 Per above.
  4. Los Plagas (talk)- Yes, it's not exactly high quality as it is now. Plus, it really doesn't have much information yet. It's just made up of hints that the developers dropped and a few elements of the game. This article should only be considered once Pikmin 3 is released and we're able to play the game and know about all of it's elements.

Puffy Blowhog

I nominate the page Puffy Blowhog to be featured. It is a very neat and tidy article, has lots of information, an image, and info on any glitches there might be involving blowhogs. It is also very detailed, and everything about it just seems right. I have also just fixed it up, giving it much better sentence structure, and it now sound even more fluid to read than it did before. On top of that, the Burrowing Snagret article has been featured for almost a year, and we will need to find a replacement featured article instead.

Support

  1. Los Plagas (talk) - Nominator.

Oppose

  1. GP - Doesn't read great, not particularly well-organised, not very long, and the images aren't the best. A good enough article, but not worth being featured, IMO.

Comments

It's pretty well organized, but it's so short... If there are other articles that would be better highlighted, I'd prefer one of those. Otherwise, I can support this nomination. — {EspyoT} 07:18, 8 February 2013 (EST)

I'm going to side with Espyo on this one. I'm neutral on it. --FREAK ~Game  Freak~OUT!

The introduction alone is a mess. I think the information isn't that bad but it needs a lot of rewriting first.--Prezintenden
