There are three logs by Captain Olimar, depending on the game:
- Olimar's voyage log: Olimar's log that he writes in at the end of each day in Pikmin.
- Olimar's Log (Exploration Notes): Olimar's log files that are scattered through the areas in Pikmin 3.
- Olimar's Log Vol. 2 (Exploration Notes): Additional log files from Olimar added in Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
On top of those, there is also Olimar's journal. These are journal entries Olimar writes on the treasures he collects in Pikmin 2 and the Pikmin 4 voyage log, in which Olimar has written the majority of its entries.
