The Emergency Kit is an item first seen in Pikmin 4. The first instance of it being used is when you see it in the Lab. It can either revive you if you have run out of HP or you can use it manually to recover all of your HP back.

In-game Description: A lifesaving tool that automatically replenishes your HP when you get knocked out. Can be used to recover HP when low. Press 'Y' to recover HP.
How to acquire and use
Automatically unlocked at The Lab and can be purchased at The Lab for 5 Raw Materials.
To use it you can access it through your pack by holding Y (or the shortcut button if you've set it as one) and then pressing right on the d-pad to highlight the pack icon. Once the pack is open, you can then select it from there.
