Louie only stole the Kopaites' food because he thought they abducted him.
I only have Pikmin on the GameCube and Pikmin 3 on the Wii U. I have only just recently beat both of them for the first time. I completed Pikmin with all the ship parts and Pikmin 3 with all fruits.
