Notes

Schnauz's notes

This ritual pole was used during an ancient festival held at the start of each new year. If the ball landed on the sharp end, the people's wishes would come true and they would dance in celebration. Though it's commonly believed the people danced either way.

  • The label, "MARUFUKU," is a possible reference to Marufuku Co., Ltd., a company established in 1947 to distribute Nintendo's playing cards.
