Scourge of the Skies (そらとぶ げんせいせいぶつ?) is the first main area in the Lushlife Murk. It introduces the Centipares, and challenges the player's skill by making Captain Olimar have to go from Centipare to Centipare to proceed forward, which can be accomplished by falling from one to the next, or by using the jetpack.

Cutscenes

Cutscene Screenshot Trigger Description
Coppeller group   When there's a stretch of land after the first few Centipares, the player lands there and moves forward a bit. Four Winged Pikmin peek their heads from behind a bush, looking at a Coppeller that flies by. When the creature passes by them, they spring out of the bush, and start to chase after it, but are quickly forced to stop and retreat, since the Coppeller came back, followed by three others. The Pikmin hide back into the bush and stay there as the Coppellers fly by.
Precarious bridge   In the room with the Flauntulent Bauble, the player enters the top doorway to exit. Olimar and four Winged Pikmin are walking in a tunnel, and part of the floor is made of small twigs on top of a chasm, making a bridge. Olimar quickly notices the bridge is giving way, and then falls down. The Pikmin with him quickly swoop down, catch him, and carry him back to safety on the other side. With a sigh of relief, Olimar continues forward.
