vicky's notesEdit

alright, I've entirely forgotten how to code and I have to be at school in 4 hours. However this talk page STILL has not been created, and I am immensely grateful my spot is still here. Some notes I have to put in that I should log for tomorrow: Amnesiacjournal (talk) 05:03, 1 September 2017 (EDT)

Bulbeel glitchEdit

The Eye-Stalker Bulbeel is normally only supposed to be able to lunge up to the surface of the water. In some instances, if the Home button is pressed to enter and exit the Home menu repeatedly in quick succession while the Bulbeel is attacking, there is a chance the Bulbeel will stretch much farther above the water's surface than intended. This in and of itself is already abnormal, but if the Bulbeel is killed while above the water, the Bulbeel will not drop any Sparklium Seeds (tested in Sector 2-A, Foaming Lake ) Amnesiacjournal (talk) 05:03, 1 September 2017 (EDT) edited: Amnesiacjournal (talk) 11:07, 11 September 2017 (EDT)

Secret Spot Clipping glitchEdit

I have been unable to verify any instances of this glitch occurring outside of Secret Spots, but in several Secret Spots, when an amiibo or Pellet is collected while Pikmin are holding onto it (and the Pellet/amiibo is partially within a wall,) during the collection animation, some Pikmin may be pushed through the wall, causing the Pikmin's death sound clip to play when they are pushed OoB of the Secret Spot. A clear example of this glitch can be seen in Secret Spot 6, in which Pikmin may be pushed through (whatever we're calling the rocks on pulley systems) into the empty space below, visible on-screen and alive.) I first discovered this glitch a few weeks ago but never had the time to get the coding down enough to document it here in more detail. Amnesiacjournal (talk) 05:03, 1 September 2017 (EDT)

Game CrashEdit

I've yet to successfully reproduce this, but while playing through Pollution Pool, my game crashed in... an unusual way. A Spornet had dropped its poisonous ball towards my Pikmin, and the Blue Pikmin (who had been carrying a bridge fragment) was in the process of placing the fragment onto the bridge. The Blue Pikmin played out its death animation while the game still thought it was placing/carrying a bridge fragment, which caused my game to force-close itself and return to the HOME menu. After providing an unusual error message, the system automatically restarted itself. It should be noted I was playing on a blue Monster Hunter Edition New!3DS XL (purchased in the US.)
