The Lesser Mock Bottom (コシリソックリ?) is a Japanese plum found in the Tropical Wilds, Garden of Hope, and Twilight River in Pikmin 3. It gives one ration of purple-pink juice. There are three Lesser Mock Bottoms in the main story, and in Mission Mode, it is worth 50 points.
Collecting the fruit
The following article or section contains guides. |
Tropical Wilds
The Lesser Mock Bottom in the Tropical Wilds is found near some Pyroclasmic Slooches. From the small bridge near the land site, turn right and go past the waterfall. There will then be a dirt mound, and beyond that, some Pyroclasmic Slooches. There will be a cluster of Spotcaps, and next to them is the fruit. Make sure to have taken care of the Hermit Crawmad near the base to assure an easy collection.
Garden of Hope
The Lesser Mock Bottom in the Garden of Hope is in the second half of the area, accessible only after Louie runs off. Near where the teacup of fragments is/would be is a high ledge with a Flukeweed. With at least 3 Winged Pikmin, swarm the Flukeweed from under the water. If the teacup is built, it is possible to throw a leader over with some Winged Pikmin, but swarming should be enough to retrieve the fruit.
Twilight River
The one in the Twilight River is in the area where Winged Pikmin are discovered, hidden under a Flukeweed yet again. It is under the Flukeweed closest to the river, and requires three Winged Pikmin to uproot. Simply have the Winged Pikmin carry the fruit over the river to the S.S. Drake.
