WTF jimbo? I did NOT do any such thing. I "added" info! If you have a qualm about it, talk here. IAMAHIPO_ocolor 14:31, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

No, you added this:
The purple Male Sheargrub is one of the smallest creatures in the Pikmin universe. However, their mandibles, which they are named after, are the largest in the game proportional to their body. They are very agressive, attacking whenever Pikmin appear. The females of the species are fair and non-agressive. It appears that the males hunt the Pikmin, while the females eat the fruits of their labor, and birth their young, similar to many known animals. Both male and female have adapted very well to burrowing. It is speculated by Captain Olimar that the Sheargrubs devolved from Shearwigs.
That is not info. For one thing, it's only one of the smallest that we know of; stuff about the mandibles just isn't necessary and can easily be found out by looking at the image; pretty much all enemies in the game are just as, if not more, aggressive; sentence about females is odd in the context - I did integrate that part better; other stuff is speculative - if it's from Olimar's notes, there's no reason to repeat it.GP
I really hate to kick Hipo while he's down (take my word for it, I don't get any particular pleasure out of undoing your edits), but Green's point is exactly what I've been saying. The description may have been a little lacking, and I did try to expand it, but that's no reason to remove it completely and replace it with a section which says many of the same things with some additional information which is either speculative or already there in Olimar's notes, and by doing so leaving the page without an introductory paragraph. —Jimbo Jambo

Invincibility

Anyone care to submit a theory in the discussion about why the Sheargrubs and Shearwigs are invincible in Pikmin 1 while eating? My theory is that their heads were more armored in Pikmin. --Louie G. 15:09, 3 June 2012 (EDT)

The pink flower in the Challenge Mode of Pikmin 2. It represents courses that were finished, with no Pikmin lost.

Fat sheargrub

Its purpose is to probably do the same thing the big Swarming sheargrubs do(They drink nectar and become larger). Also, Swarming sheargrubs i think are shearwigs in female form. 64.235.154.35 08:21, 25 January 2016 (EST)/Pikifan4 on the Pikmin Fanon

Can you elaborate on what this "Fat Sheargrub" is? Also, we know that female Shearwigs remain underground (Olimar's notes on the Shearwig in the Pikmin enemy reel), so until we get Burrowing Pikmin, female Shearwigs will never meet the Pikmin. Phineas81707 (talk) 21:20, 25 January 2016 (EST)
A. The Pikmin evolved so why can't the ShearGrubs?
B. The 'Fat ShearGrub' is a unused enemy in Pikmin 3 74.109.232.46 21:31, 25 January 2016 (EST)/Pikifan4 on the Pikmin fanon
A) When? Certainly not in the timeframe of the Pikmin games so far. B) Buriko? Speculation is nice, but this isn't the place for it. If it was, this page isn't the place for it. Phineas81707 (talk) 08:04, 26 January 2016 (EST)
what i mean is that Buriko on the unused content page it says it may be a big Male Sheargrub, similar to the Process of Big Swarming Sheargrubs. Also, most Pikmin 3 enemies don't have talk pages so I posted the Female ShearWig thingy here. They may have evolved like Spotty Bulbears and Skitter Leafs. 64.235.154.37 08:48, 26 January 2016 (EST)/Pikifan4 On the PikminFanon
