I'm pretty sure they wouldn't make up names like that. Maybe Stone Walls isn't the right name, but Bramble Gates makes sense. -PikminExpert

But calling them that makes it seem like an official name, whereas simply 'gate' is a generic term, one that's quite obviously given 'cause there is and doesn't need to be a proper name. 'Stone gate' similarly speaks for itself. GP
