Collaborations

Various collaborations between the Pikmin brand and other brands have taken place over time. This article is a list of some of these collaborations.

San Diego Zoo

The San Diego Zoo is a zoo located in San Diego, California. Like any zoo, it is primarily an exhibit for a wide variety of animals, considered by many to be the best of its kind in the world.

A promotional event dubbed Pikmin × San Diego Zoo was announced and begun on October 1^st, 2024. Similar to Super Nintendo World's hidden Pikmin figures, five Pikmin statues can be found around the zoo's Wildlife Explorers Basecamp area from October 1^st to November 28^th. This tied into a similar promotion in October where tickets for children under 11 were free.

Guests were encouraged to visit the area's Pikmin pop-up tent near the Spineless Marvels section and check in at the My Nintendo kiosk and redeem 100 Platnium Points by scanning their My Nintendo QR Code, as well as a goodie bag (through November 24^th) if they show staff a photo of a hidden Pikmin.

There are 5 statues, featuring the 5 main Pikmin types from Pikmin 2.
