Suggestions: Add locations and more information about the different prizes.

Nintendo Land's plaza contains several prizes of items and objects the player can encounter in each attraction. Some of these prizes represent items found in the Pikmin Adventure attraction. By touching the prizes on the GamePad or by jumping into them with the controllable Mii, the player can see each prize's name as well as a brief description of the item represented, provided by Monita. The following article will detail the relevant objects and items in Pikmin Adventure.

Bulborb Dropping

The Bulborb Dropping statue in the Nintendo Land plaza.

When players are eaten by a Bulborb, they are turned into a dropping. To return to normal, the Pikmin have to attack the dropping to free the player.

Monita's notes
  • US version US version: People eaten by a Bulborb are forced to wear this. It's the little details that make this attraction feel like a real Pikmin adventure!
  • European version European version: People eaten by a Bulborb are forced to wear this. ◆ It's the little details that make this attraction feel like a real Pikmin adventure!

Draft Jumper

Draft Jumpers are gameplay elements that propel the player to another location of the level.

Monita's notes
  • US version US version: Drafts of air shoot up from these contraptions, propelling you to a new area. They're usually locked with a key, but don't worry--you'll probably find one.
  • European version European version: Drafts of air shoot up from these contraptions, propelling you to a new floor. ◆ They're usually locked with a key, but don't worry - you'll probably find one.

Heart

A heart statue in Nintendo Land.
The regular heart as seen in the Nintendo Land plaza.

Hearts appear in many attractions, including Pikmin Adventure. They restore the player's health. In Pikmin Adventure, the player can have up to three hearts. However, by collecting a bigger version of the regular heart, the player can extend their maximum to six ones.

Monita's notes
  • US version US version: This is always a source of relief when it finally appears. I heartily recommend this statue as a romantic meeting point if you're planning a date here at the park!
  • European version European version: A source of relief, when it finally appears. I heartily recommend this statue as a romantic meeting point if you're planning a date here at the park!

Jukebox

A Jukebox that contains all Nintendo Land's musics.

Main article: Music in Pikmin Adventure.

The Jukebox is a prize that can be used to listen to some tracks heard in-game. It contains seven Pikmin Adventure songs: Tutorial Stage, Spring Area, Summer Area, Autumn Area, Winter Area, Underground, and Boss Battle.

Monita's notes
  • US version US version: Touch a button to play a song. Touch it again to stop. You'll unlock more songs as you play, so come back often!
  • European version European version: Touch the icon to play a song. Touch it again to stop. I had a track of my own, but it was cut from the collection. Apparently, my single-tone style wasn't quite what they were looking for.

Jump Switch

A statue of a Jump Switch.
A Jump Switch as seen in the Nintendo Land plaza.

Jump Switches are similar to Draft Jumpers in that they propel the player to another location. The main difference is that this item will send the players in a closer zone. Moreover, every player needs to stand on it to make it work.

Monita's notes
  • US version US version: Gather everyone together on the switch, and you'll be catapulted through the air. Finally, an attraction where you don't have to wait in line!
  • European version European version: Gather everyone together on the switch and you'll be catapulted through the air. ◆ Finally, an attraction where you don't have to queue!

Nectar

A statue of a drop of nectar.
A drop of nectar as seen in the Nintendo Land plaza.

Drops of nectar help the player level up. Every three blobs, a player will level up. It takes level 5 to get a bud, and level 10 to get a flower. Players will also release a few drops of nectar when hurt.

Monita's notes
  • US version US version: Nectar is a condensed, highly nutritional food source that has been scientifically proven to encourage a Pikmin's growth. Also, it looks delicious.
  • European version European version: Nectar is a condensed, highly nutritious food source which has been scientifically proven to encourage a Pikmin's growth. Also, it looks delicious.

Rock

The Rock prize in Pikmin Adventure.
A rock as seen in the Nintendo Land plaza.

Rocks are gameplay items that can be thrown at enemies. The latter not only get damaged but can also get stunned for some time.

Monita's notes
  • US version US version: Pikmin are stronger than you think! Case in point: a single Pikmin can lift even this hefty rock. Just don't throw it carelessly, or you might end up flattening one of your teammates!
  • European version European version: Pikmin are stronger than you think! Case in point: a single Pikmin can lift even this hefty rock. Just don't throw it carelessly or you might end up flattening one of your teammates!

Spike Ball

A Spike Ball.

Spike balls are weapons or projectiles used by a few enemies in Pikmin Adventure. Enemies that shoot spike balls include the Telescoping Pumphog and Bilious Bulborb. The Greater Studded Beeb has spike balls for hands.

Monita's notes
  • US version / European version: I thought that by adding spikes to this ball, I'd encourage you to run faster...

Others

There are enemies or other important elements that have a prize in the plaza. The following articles have more information about their prizes and descriptions:

Some plants also have their own prizes. For a list, see Pikmin Adventure vegetation.
