The research pod has notability in the Pikmin games, so much so that it has been granted its own article. Merging this page is a an appreciable incentive, but I think they need to be kept separate, at least for now. BNK ^[E|T|C] 22:58, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

The ship's pod is part of the ship, but it acts in a different way throught the game. Snakeboss14

• Espyo: There's basically as much info here as there is in the Hocotate ship article's section. It's the ship's form that's seen through half of the game, but it's still the ship. The research pod doesn't have any specially defining characteristics.
