Pikmin 4 has various unused content left in its game files.

In a spritesheet containing various icons for the radar, there is an unused icon for a light green Onion after the other Onion types. It is unknown what it might have represented.

Save File images

In the same folder as the save file images for the other areas, there are unused save file images for night expedition versions of The Central Flame and The Maple Bridge from Giant's Hearth and Primordial Thicket respectively. Oddly enough, these images focus on the Lumiknolls a lot more than the used save file images, which show more of the area around them.

Unused parameters

Various parameters for Pikmin types include unused parameters for a "Bean" type. There are no models or other information about this Pikmin type. A piece of Pikmin 3 concept art features a Pikmin shaped like a bean, so it is possible that this type was considered for the game early in development.
