Not at all relevant, but still a nice thing to blub about...)

The Ambiguous Hostel is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is an red ocarina with two engravements on the mouthpiece: a calligraphic writing that reads "Tlozoot" and a serif letter "AC", the latter closer to the windway.

As with the other treasures found in the Serene Shores's northwestern section, the player cannot access this treasure without first delving through the Engulfed Castle. Once they do, this treasure can be found to the right of the aforementioned cave's exit, sitting atop a ledge. It is low enough to be reached by most Pikmin or be knocked down with a Rush from Oatchi.

The player will also need to lower a paper bag to bring it to the S.S. Beagle. This treasure weighs 10 units.

Notes

Schnauz's Notes

It seems that something—or more likely some things—lived within the inner cavity of this device. What were these things? What was their purpose? Were they forced to live there together as part of an experiment? Some things are destined to remain unknown.

Olimar's Notes

Based on its shape and where it was found, I have deduced this is a nest for some type of aquatic creature. On Hocotate, fish are known to use sunken buildings and objects like their own underwater apartments. I'm sure many a life flourished here.

Louie's Notes

I put my face through one of the holes and smelled something odd.

Trivia

  • The engraving on this treasure reads "Tlozoot", a reference to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The "AC" engraving below stands for alto C, which is the same pitch used by the eponymous Ocarina of Time.
