In Pikmin 4, several items can be used whilst out exploring the many areas of PNF-404. These items are all stored in the pack, which can be accessed at anytime. Most the items can be purchased from Russ at [The Lab|the lab], but a handful can be obtained by other means.

File:Glow seed P4 icon.png	Glow Seed	Rewarded 1 seed for each multiple of 5 Glow Pikmin on night expeditions.	Allows the player to grow Glow Pikmin on night expeditions or in caves.	Complete your first night expedition.	The game rounds up to the nearest multiple of 5. e.g. If 13 Pikmin are grown, 3 seeds are rewarded.
