The Glinty Circular Disc is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is actually a Japanese disc of Wave Race: Blue Storm for the Nintendo GameCube.

“This disc vexes me greatly. I've analyzed it, meditated over it, and even given it a good whack or two, and still I can't decipher its purpose! But drawing upon my rather prodigious treasure knowledge, I surmise it is either a piece of equipment used for gathering solar energy, or it's a weapon capable of reflecting light at troublesome beasts to scare them off. Quite useful either way!”

“I think this might be a tool for warding off predators. Perhaps if I attached it to my back, the creatures of this planet would be deterred from chasing me. I could test this theory on the Pikmin... Of course, they might end up carrying me instead, treasure and all.”
