Red Pikmin or Pikminicus rufusiaare one of the most recognized colors of Pikmin, and they are the first kind of Pikmin that you get in both games. These Pikmin are immune to fire and they have the most potent attack strength of the primary colored Pikmin. In the first Pikmin game these pikmin were the most powerful out of the three. There may be some occasions where you might need them to do some things, but otherwise they aren't really the best Pikmin. Red Pikmin are the most powerful out of the the ordinary Pikmin which are Red, Yellow, and Blue, but Reds aren't as strong as Purle Pikmin. They may be good to use in Candypop Buds if you have many.
