Curiosity

Inside the ROM, one can find the following string (no quotes): "This important part can detect the locations of←CC[b4ffffff] the other missing parts←CC[b4ffffff]." The arrow followed by CC means that everything that follows the square brackets will be colored using the color represented by the code in said square brackets. Now, there is no point in having the b4ffffff twice (b4ffffff is the common color in Pikmin text). {EspyoT}

I'm guessing they intended to have it a different colour or did at one point, then never got around to it or changed it back lazily. Though, what sort of colour codes have 8 digits? That's 2 for each R, G, B then 2 more. Only place I've ever seen something like it is POV-ray's RGBF, where the F stands for 'filter' - maybe this is filtering colour from behind the text. Can you see through the words at all?GP
