Amphituber family name changes and moving pages
Pikmin 1+2 and Pikmin 4 have made it clear that the series is abandoning the standard American English suffix for members of the Amphituber family in favour of the standard British English"-hop" suffix, and it should stand to reason that all pages affected by this change should be moved. This means all enemies in the Switch ports, as well as those featured in Pikmin 4.
It would also stand to reason, to me, that related enemies should have their names changed to match the British English version for the same reason that the franchise itself has decided to make such changes. This means the Young Yellow Wollywog, which is featured in only Hey! Pikmin, should have its page moved to Young Yellow Wollyhop, as an example. I realise this may be contentious, however.

- Makes sense to me.--Anothrgamer1234 (talk) 12:28, July 22, 2023 (EDT)
- As I wrote in Talk:Wollywog, this is not the right thing to do. Our job on Pikipedia is to document what is in the games, not what should be in the games. It's not our job to update things that the developers haven't updated yet. We should always use the latest official American English name for an enemy, and for enemies that last appeared in Hey! Pikmin and Pikmin Adventure, the names of Amphitubers do not end in "hop", so we can't rename them this way. The only articles we can rename are for the enemies that actually have been renamed. — Soprano(talk) 19:11, July 22, 2023 (EDT)
Wollywog family
Considering the Translucent Wollywog is listed as belonging to a different family in both the American and Japanese versions of Pikmin Adventure, would it make sense to create a separate page for the "Wollywog family"? The name's stupid, but it's clearly supposed to be its own thing. 2 B (talk) 10:59, March 3, 2024 (EST)
