There are four logs by Captain Olimar, depending on the game:
- Olimar's voyage log: Olimar's log that he writes in at the end of each day in Pikmin.
- Olimar's Log (Exploration Notes): Olimar's log files that are scattered through the areas in Pikmin 3.
- Olimar's Log Vol. 2 (Exploration Notes): Additional log files from Olimar added in Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
- Pikmin 4 voyage log: Notes in Pikmin 4, most of which are written by Olimar.
On top of those, there is also Olimar's journal. These are journal entries Olimar writes on the treasures he collects in Pikmin 2.
