The Stone of Advancement (進歩の原石?, lit.: "Stone of Advancement") is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is actually a Cobalt Game Boy Advance SP. It appears to still be functioning. It is found in the Rescue Command Post.

Collecting the treasure

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Stone of Advancement is on a high platform to the right of the S.S. Shepherd. To knock it loose, you need to charge into the wall with Oatchi. After a brief cutscene, you will be able to collect the treasure.

Notes

Schnauz's notes

Notice how resplendent the blue of this slab is! It's called "cobalt blue." The pigment is extracted from an ore renowned for honing one's intuition, intelligence, and reflexes. Yes, the more I gaze upon it, the more advanced I feel myself become.

Olimar’s Notes

Space is a funny place. You can be using the latest in galaxy-navigation technology and still find yourself lost in a sea of space trash. But that's life, isn't it? If you want to advance, you've got to be flexible. This also applies to setting martial disagreements.

Louie’s Notes

It opens. And then it closes. That's pretty fun.

Trivia

  • If viewed in the Newly Nostalgic Series's Treasure Haul entry, the Spinning Memories Plank will be inside of it. It will be showing the title screen for Kuru Kuru Kururin.
  • In one of the possible night conversations, Shepherd thinks that the Stone of Advancement may have once been used as a makeshift shelter to protect its creator from the wind and rain.
