Pikmin are the inhabitants of the Pikmin planet, discovered by Olimar and Louie. There are many types of Pikmin. Red, yellow, blue, purple, white, mushroom, and Bulbmin. Olimar takes very good notes while Louie talks about eating the creatures. Pikmin 1 and 2 are available. Pikmin 2 holds many more varieties of Pikmin than the first.
