Seeding Dandelion
Taraxacum ventulus, this is not the scientific name given by humans.
A Seeding Dandelion is a mature Dandelion that has evolved its flower into a white puffy round shape. The white puffs are really cotton like appendages that are attached to seeds. The wind sweeps these off of the plant, and carries them away to distibute the plant in many places, this is likely its kost primary means of dispersal. Like the Dandelion, this plant is hard to locate.
Olimar's Notes
It is believed that this plant produces tufted seeds with a parachute-like arm, which allows the seeds to ride gently on the wind. This increases the range of the plant considerably.
