Two 1 Pellet Posies, one is blue, one is red. There are other sizes of these plants, but these are mostly basic.

Pellet Posies are the main producer plants for Pikmin to propagate. When a Pikmin cuts it down, it drops a pellet. These come in different sizes and colors, 1's, 5's, 10's, and 20's. Some of these plants change color throughout time, similar to the Queen Candypop Buds, becoming the color of pellet it glows when it is cut down. If a Pikmin lands on the pellet when it is in the flower, the flower quickly and automatically dies.

Pellet Posies only appear in the Valley of Repose and the Awakening Wood. Never are they in caves. Pellet posies, only 1's however, are found in 2-Player Mode.

As a sidenote, 10's and 20's only appear in the Awakening Wood and the Valley of Repose in the Pikmin's ecosystem. There are only 3 existing in this field located to the left of the landing site. The yellow 10 is near one of the Burgeoning Spiderworts. The other two are on basic land. The only twenty in this world is on the ledge on the opposite side where the Sunseed Berry is. This twenty, and the only twenty, actually changes colors, so time carefully when cutting it down. these will only appear after a certain amount of days. The one in the Valley of Repose is a 10 pellet, and it changes colors, it is right near your base, but only appears after a certain amount of days.
