Quite a few of those amiibo are different and new, compared to the unveiled ones. It could just be "general amiibo shapes", not necessarily a taste of things to come. — {Espyo^T} 10:04, 31 May 2015 (EDT)

I've noticed that the Mario and Bowser ones resemble the Mario series amiibo, and the Tom Nook amiibo is actually a card.
