Hocotatians are apparently the dominant race of the planet Hocotate. They are about the size of a nickel, but are very advanced for their stature. They are capable of efficient, regular extraterrestrial exploration and interaction, and use devices far beyond the technology of humans. They express human like emotions, including fear, love, annoyance, and sadness, empathy, as well as curiosity. Hocotatians possess two hands with five digits on each, and have opposable thumbs. They have two large eyes, which are usually obscured by their thick eyebrows. They also have legs and feet. Hocotatians also possess what appears to be a large nose in the center of their face. Hocotatians also have thick, <-- someone insert better description words here --> short hairs. Hocotatian's heads are larger in porportion to their body than humans. Hocotatians are capable of sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell. They can also detect spicyness. Hocotatians main way of communication is speech, and are able to write and read. Hocotatians enjoy food that most people food find disgusting, such as broiled bugs and odd dishes. Hocotatians are a commercialized civiliaztion, and repaying a debt is the storyline behind Pikmin 2. Hocotatians have similar family structures to modern day western cultures, that is, husband and wife and kids. Hocotatians also enjoy art, and exhibit many characterustics of humans.
