The Unexamined Nest is a treasure in Hey! Pikmin. It is dropped by the second boss in the game, the Long Water Dumple. It is a blue ocarina, and is round with a small handle. It is about five times the length and three times the height of Captain Olimar.

Notes

Hey! Pikmin logs

I recovered this from inside the giant water creature. It's...a nest of some kind? I'm too nervous to see what lives in it. I...I don't need to analyze all of these things! It's not my job!

Trivia

  • Based on Olimar's entry for the treasure, it seems like he gets nervous when looking at it. This may be because he has trypophobia, the fear of disorganized holes, such as the ones covering the treasure.
  • The Unexamined Nest bears a resemblance to the Ocarina of Time from The Legend of Zelda series, though it lacks the Triforce decoration on its mouthpiece.
