The Metamorphocistern (known as the Metamorphosis Tank in the European version) is a treasure in Hey! Pikmin, that can be found in the Steel Pipe Forest area. It is a silver-colored powder case, which is two times the size of Olimar and three times his width.

After the doorway leading to the Whisper Broadcaster, the player can climb up some vines, and must avoid the Sporegrubs that appear near them. Then, Olimar has to throw his Pikmin to a vine that can be pulled down, in order to climb it and to get to the treasure. To retrieve it, the player just has to throw 10 Pikmin at the treasure.
