This template writes down license information for a file, depending on the parameter passed. It also categorizes the page according to the license, unless the nocat parameter is provided. The default license is game or media copyrighted fair use. To display a different license, valid values for the first parameter are:

  • cc by-sa 1.0: CC Attribution-ShareAlike 1.0. Optionally, add the attribution with parameter 2.
  • cc by-sa 2.1 jp: Same as above, but CC Attribution-ShareAlike 2.1 Japan.
  • cc by 2.0: Same as above, but CC Attribution 2.0.
  • cc by 2.5: Same as above, but CC Attribution 2.5.
  • cc by-sa 2.5: Same as above, but CC Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5.
  • cc by 3.0: Same as above, but CC Attribution 3.0.
  • cc by-sa 3.0: Same as above, but CC Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0.
  • cc by 4.0: Same as above, but CC Attribution 4.0.
