-Okay, I don't know japanese, but I looked up a video of the Japanese piklopedia, and the name of this creature is apparently ハグダマグモ, which is apparently pronounced hagudamagumo, which seems to be a mix of はげた (hageta) meaning bald and shaggy's japanese name, kudamagumo. So the whole baldy = beady doesn't seem to be true in either language.
