The Bowsprit is a rocket part found inside an Armored Cannon Beetle. Getting it requires many steps. First, you'll need to defeat all Bulbears and Puffy Blowhogs that will be in your way. You can take two trials to get to it, cross the fire geysers near the Beetle or take the safe route near your landing site, which is build the twig and unplug the geyser. Then you can defeat the Beetle and retrieve the part. Build the bridge and destroy the gate so your Red Pikmin can carry it back to the Dolphin, defeating the Shearwigs along the way. The Bowsprit is the "face" of the Dolphin designed by Captain Olimar and gives the Dolphin its sleek shape. It has a remarkable resemblance to a Pokeball when looked at from the top. Olimar denies any relation.
