So that I might be clear, what is the distinction between 'Red' and 'Pikmin' in the table? Phineas81707 (talk) 23:33, 30 December 2016 (EST)

"Red" refers to your last Red Pikmin. "Pikmin" refers to your last Pikmin of all. Some examples:

"Outside, lose your last Red. In other areas: Buried Reds." = Be at the overworld of the Valley of Repose, have 1 Red and 2 Purples in your party, have 1 buried Red Pikmin at the Awakening Wood, have absolutely no Pikmin located anywhere else in the entire game. Then, lose the Red in your party.
"Outside, lose your last Pikmin. In other areas: No Pikmin." = Be at the overworld of the Valley of Repose, have 1 Red Pikmin, have absolutely no Pikmin located anywhere else in the entire game. Then, lose this Pikmin. — {Espyo^T} 12:31, 31 December 2016 (EST)
