A group of Scornets attacks.
Scornets in formation

These creatures are bee-like and are always in swarms. Using ground based Pikmin is practically useless. The best way to defeat a swarm is to use large amounts of Winged Pikmin in order to outnumber them. These enemies look similar to the bee-like boss which controls them using its harp-like beak.

These enemies are capable of making coordinated formations that are capable of attacking and eventually killing your Pikmin swarm.

Trivia

  • They appear to draw inspiration from shuttlecocks (also known as birdies) from the sport Badminton.
