The Sputtlefish is a poisonous, squid-like enemy in Pikmin 3. They are capable of swimming around on the surface of the water, and can lash out on Pikmin and eat them one at a time alongside releasing a toxic ink whenever they are attacked.[1]

- The Sputtlefish's name is based off of "spurt", since it squirts toxic ink to defend itself, and "Cuttlefish", a real-life animal that it resembles.
