Use Purples to defeat all of the Bulborbs in your way and carry the treasure to the ship's pod. The Hypnotic Platter is actually an A&W bottle cap.
In the PAL version of Pikmin 2, this treasure is a 'Vita-Malz' bottle cap. It is found above ground, on a tree stump in Awakening Wood.
