The Refreshing Goo (メモリアル・ブルー?, lit.: "Memorial Blue") is a treasure in Pikmin 4 located in the Last-Frost Cavern. It is actually a used tube of light blue acrylic paint. Like other treasures in the Soulful Artist Series, this one is reminiscent of Ice Pikmin. The Last-Frost Cavern, where it can be found, is likely the first place players will discover Ice Pikmin in.
Collecting the treasure[edit]
The Refreshing Goo is hidden under some leaves near the hydro jelly blocking the exit, inside of the first and only sublevel of the Last-Frost Cavern. Before it is recovered, the enemies on the way should be dealt with, at least the Male Sheargrubs, and the paper bag should be pushed down for faster transport.
Notes[edit]
Schnauz's notes[edit]
“This is neither the color of the sky nor the color of the sea. Though it is nearly the color of both. No, as blue hues go, this one is like a cool splash of water on your face...or like shaved ice on a summer day...or like the calm surface of the swimming pool after my love swam away for the last time... Oh! Oh my! I fear I got swept away for a moment there.”
Olimar's notes[edit]
“This color reminds me of the ice emitted by the Sus nivisventis... Is it a coincidence that I encountered this treasure and Ice Pikmin in the same area? It's no coincidence that Ice Pikmin are called that. If I licked one, I'm sure my tongue would stick to it!”
Louie's notes[edit]
“I look at this color and think about ice cubes. It doesn't matter how many I eat. They never fill me up.”
