The Ice Sword is a treasure found in Pikmin 4. It is actually a blue sword-shaped toothpick.

Collecting the treasure

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

Engulfed Castle

There is an Ice Sword lying in a puddle of water near the southwestern corner of sublevel 1 of the Engulfed Castle, stabbing a Juicy Gaggle. It is guarded by a Fiery Blowhog and a Pyroclasmic Slooch, which should be defeated before attempting to collect it. To collect this treasure, you must throw 1 Pikmin at it, which will make it detach from the Juicy Gaggle.

Giant's Hearth

There is an Ice Sword on an exposed brick at the bottom left corner of the grill near the center of the overworld. To collect this treasure, you must scale the platforming section on the adjacent wall and throw 1 Pikmin at it.

There is an Ice Sword on a plastic ledge near the center of the grill near the center of the overworld. To collect this treasure, you must throw 1 Yellow or Winged Pikmin at it, or knock it down with a Rush from Oatchi and throw 1 Pikmin at it.

Notes

Schnauz's notes

Clearly this ancient sword was forged in battle on some sort of an ice planet. Just look at it! The deep-blue coloring is evidence that it once had powers that worked best in below-freezing temperatures. I could swear, all these eons later, it's still cold to the touch.

Olimar's notes

I've visited a few icebound planets while delivering cargo throughout space. Based on my experience, I find it hard to believe this material could withstand such a severe environment. I think it's likely this object was used for another purpose.

Louie's notes

It's fun to stab fruits with this thing.
