The Stone of Advancement (進歩の原石^?, lit.: "Stone of Advancement") is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is actually a Cobalt Game Boy Advance SP. It appears to still be functioning. It is found in the Rescue Command Post as one of the three treasures needed to kickstart the S.S. Shepherd.

Collecting the treasure

The Stone of Advancement is on a high platform to the west of the S.S. Shepherd. To knock it loose, you need to charge into the wall with Oatchi. After a brief cutscene, you will be able to collect the treasure, provided at least 7 Pikmin are brought after discovering the Red Onion.

• If viewed in the Newly Nostalgic Series's Treasure Catalog entry, the Spinning Memories Plank will be inside of it. It will be showing the title screen for Kuru Kuru Kururin.
• In one of the possible night conversations, Shepherd thinks that the Stone of Advancement may have once been used as a makeshift shelter to protect its creator from the wind and rain.
